I designed a promotional lookbook to introduce the collection. This spread featured three of the patterns in all five colorways, as well as the custom
branded typography.
LookBook
Fine|Spun was my first fabric collection for American quilt fabric manufacturer Marcus Brothers Textiles. Released in 2017, it comprised five repeating patterns, each produced in five colorways.
I took inspiration from photographs taken during my graduate research in Spain, and from the art I studied there.
Inspiration
Collection motifs include alicatados (tilework mosaics), Baroque architectural motifs, and carnations--Spain's national flower.
Pincushion Kit Giveaway
For Spring Quilt Market, 2017, I created a small kit with an materials and an instruction booklet for making a unique biscornu pincushion.
I also created promotional materials and designed a trade show display and collateral to publicize the collection.
